Constitution Trash, by the Montana and Ballet Co.

Montana has one of the most respected state constitutions in the world, emulated by democratic nations across the globe. The citizens who wrote it in 1972 (no politicians) toured the state on their own dime–– conservatives and liberals together–– to advance their fine work. It is a masterwork of human rights. In 2023, with a conservative supermajority in the legislature has proposed 57 amendments to Montana's constitution. Many other states are also facing threats to basic human rights by constitutional amendments. If your state is one, let us know and to help with your campaign the Montana Logging and Ballet Co. will write verses specific to your issues. Reach us through Facebook, or our manager, Bob FitzGerald: fitzer@bresnan.net CONSTITUTION TRASH In Montana we think we are thriving and successful, but some folks think that's a problem and they find it stressful. So to make Montana great, they have a solution: to solve the problems we don't have— they'll trash the constitution! Big Sky Country has blues skies, our native pride and glory, but that costs them money— so they'll tell another story. They need toxic wastes and smog, runoff and pollution. So to trash the countryside— they'll trash the constitution! People think it's good to have our liberty and freedom. They don't see their dignity and power will mislead 'em. Women make their choices by themselves with resolution! So to put an end to that— they'll trash the constitution! In Montana voters voice opinions in elections. But that sends us off in many differing directions. With one-party rule, they'll void the people's contribution. So to rig elections— they'll trash the constitution! Courts are working— that's no good. Let legislators run them. Schools work fine, but our dear politicians can outgun them. Take the power from everyone. Welcome persecution. To make Montana great again: —they'll trash the constitution! To make Montana great again: —they'll trash the constitution! This carries a Creative Commons Copyright, so feel free to copy and share!

Song of the Siren by Tim Holmes

"We are creatures vulnerable to the erotic call, a call which can lure us into destruction. How can one both hear that alluring song and maintain some control over our direction? This short film suggests there is something even more powerful and profound that underlies sexual desire, that can be tapped without the danger of crashing on the rocks." -- Tim Holmes "Tim Holmes is the first American artist ever invited to give a solo exhibit at the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia, the world's largest art museum, where his sculptures remain on permanent exhibit. His work has gained notice among some of the world's peacemakers, from the Chinese dissident students of Tiananmen Square to the Physicians for Social Responsibility. Jimmy Carter, Czech hero Vaclav Havel, and the late Coretta Scott King are among Holmes' best-known collectors. "Holmes has created many international projects such as the U.N. Women's Peace Prize and other peace awards. He has worked with Archbishop Desmond Tutu in efforts to create an international peace center on Robben Island, the gulag where President Nelson Mandela and thousands of others were imprisoned during the dark apartheid years and on South Africa's bid for the Olympics. Though Holmes is most well known for sculpture he works in a variety of media, all pointing toward a more responsive, cooperative and sustainable future." http://timholmesstudio.com RESUME Selected One-Person Museum Exhibitions: The Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia, 1993-94.
